Nepal has been grouped together with India, Pakistantan and Afghanistan in Group 'A' in the ACC Emerging Teams Cup Cricket Competition going to be held in Singapore from August 17.

Likewise, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the
UAE and Singapore are in Group 'B', according to a press release issued by the
ACC today.

The 50 overs competition will end on
August 25.Nepal will play against Afghanistan, India and Pakistan on August 17,
20 and 21 respectively under the competition.
Meanwhile, the Cricket Association
of Nepal (CAN) has selected 22 players for the competition.According to CAN
Secretary, Uttam Kumar Karmacharya the players were selected following a closed
training camp.
The players selected for the
tournament are Paras Khadka, Subas Khakurel, Sharad Bheshwakar, Gyanendra
Malla, Amrit Bhattarai, Prithu Banskota, Shakti Gauchan, Sanjam Regmi, Basanta
Regmi, Ram Naresh Giri, Jitendra Mukhiya, Sagar Pun, Binod Bhandari, Naresh
Budha Air, Pradeep Aire, Chandra Saud, Gyanman Kumal, Anil Mandal, Rahul
Bishwokarma, Binod Das, Mahesh Chhetri and Abhinash Karna. RSS
