Kathmandu, Sept. 10:
Following immense pressure, Home Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Madhav Prasad Ghimire has decided not to leave for New York to participate in the 68th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Chairman of the Interim Election Government Khil Raj Regmi and Home Minister Ghimire were criticised from various quarters about their purported visit to New York at the time when the nation has been gripping for the Constituent Assembly election.
However, Regmi alone will be leaving for New York, according to Regmi's Press Advisor Bimal Gautam,
President Ram Baran Yadav has even dispatched an informal letter to Regmi to cancel his New York visit at the present crucial time.
Earlier, Regmi and Ghimire were scheduled to leave for New York on September 2.
