Diarrhea, Typhoid Patients Increase in Achham

Achham:
The number of
people suffering from diarrhea and typhoid has increased in the district this
rainy season due to the use of contaminated water and lack of proper
sanitation, said health workers.
Among the 80/ 90 patients visiting
the District Hospital daily, some 30 to 40 are of diarrhea and typhoid, said
Tirtha Raj Joshi, a staff at the District Hospital.
Likewise, the number of patients is
increasing at the different health posts and clinics in the district and most
of the patients visiting these health facilities are diarrhea and typhoid
