Saptari, Sept. 10: Chairman of the Rastriya Madhesh Samajbadi Party (RMSP) Sharat Singh Bhandari has urged the political parties opposing the second Constituent Assembly (CA) election fixed for November 19 to give up their stances and join the election.
Speaking at a press meet organised
by the Madhesi Journalists' Society here today, leader Bhandari also requested
the government and High-Level Political Committee (HLPC) to create an
atmosphere in which all the parties represented in the first CA could
participate in the November 19 election.
"Election by keeping any party
aside is possible, but such election would not give the nation a new
constitution", he said.
It is not appropriate for the head
of election government and ministers on foreign visits when the date for the
election is approaching nearer, he said, urging the government to fully
concentrate upon the upcoming CA elections.
