Itahari, Sept. 10: Chairman of the
Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (MJF)-Nepal, Upendra Yadav has said that the election
to the Constituent Assembly (CA) would be held on the stipulated date if any
serious mishap does not occur in the country.
Talking to mediapersons at Itahari
today, Yadav pointed out the truth that the first CA failed to promulgate a new
constitution due to lack of consensus among political parties on the issues to
be mentioned in the constitution.
He clarified that consensus among
the political parties was still necessary for the same.
Indicating that the CPN-Maoist,
which has announced to boycott the CA election, could participate in it, the
MJF-Nepal Chairman said that discussion was underway on the issue of co-work
with likeminded Madhes-based parties.
Yadav stressed that promulgation of
new constitution was a compulsion for the welfare of the country and added that
the country could face a serious mishap if the environment for standing in a
common point among political parties was not created.
